Lainey Livingston, gifted with powers through a power-plant accident that lead to the death of her parents, was raised in foster homes until her strength and flight powers appeared in her preteens. Sent to study at The School, a training-ground for youngsters of the powered persuasion, Lainey eventually moved on to join the Red Knights before quitting to attend one of the premier law schools in the country. After graduating at the age of 24, she joined the Power Squad. Now offered a position with the Elite Hands of Justice, Lainey has been partnered with the Reincarnist for training and is determined to prove herself, both to the team and to Robert.  

The Reincarnist has been many men in his long life. Born with an affinity for magic and the power to become a new man instead of dying, the Reincarnist has been around since before the Renaissance, and has lived multiple lives, from pirate to gentleman to soldier. He took the alias the Reincarnist while living his life as Walter Rath when he helped to form the first major hero team, The Elite Hands of Justice, after returning home from World War II. He lead the team for many years, eventually passing over leadership to his son, but dissatified with how the team became more concerned with its celebrity status instead of saving the world, the Reincarnist became an inactive member, content to help train new members and stay out of the limelight.

8th Century BC - the daughter of the Reincarnist, now known as Fantazia, is born. It is believed by her and him that she is the first child he had and is from his first life. However, considering the nature of his powers, it is possible that is not accurate.

It is rumored that the Italian language’s roots came from the language used by The Reincarnist and his family for spellcasting.

Doctor Benjamin Rath - He is the current leader of the Elite Hands of Justice and is a strategical genius.

White Heat (Paul Christian) - He is the current team leader and senior member. A scientist who gave himself heat powers through illegal experimentation.

Aphrodite (Kate Hughes) - She is the current incarnation of the goddess Aphrodite and a senior member. She possesses godlike strength and can make any man (or woman) not in love fall in love with her and do whatever she says. She also can read auras.

Inferno (Simon Leasure) - The son of a senator, Simon can control or create fire.

Tekgrrl (Mindy Clark) - The child prodigy of highly-regarded scientists, Mindy has been around the EHJ since she was a young child. On exchange to another planet, she was experimented on by aliens at 13 and came back to Earth with her intelligence expanded ever higher. She can invent almost anything that comes to her mind.

Sensei (Luke Harmon) - A martial artist discovered by the Reincarnist, he has a photographic memory and reflexes and is a senior member.

The Magnificent (Toby Latimer) - Born stronger, faster, and more durable than the average person, he can also jump large distances and control his rate of descent. He is a senior member.
